Antiques Store

The Missouri River Chronicle, located at 1125 Helena Avenue, is Helena’s oldest fine antiques store. Established 1989, the store has been at its present location since 1991, when Crystal and Dave Shors purchased the 1930s stucco home located on a pie-shaped slice of commercial property between Helena and Boulder Avenues.

The charm and warmth of the old home offers a perfect backdrop for antiques and collectibles. Business neighbors include Great Harvest Bread, Capital City Health Club, Capital Sports and Western and the Real Food Store. The main entrance to the store is off Boulder Avenue, just across the street from the Capital City Health Club.

As you walk in the door you’ll find two floors of fine antiques and collectibles, including furniture, dishes, cut glass, pottery, Montana books, photographs, prints, kitchen ware, crocks, clocks, fishing collectibles and postcards, even a classic 1950s Wurlitzer that will play your favorite 45s while you shop.

Hours can vary, so please call for an appointment. (406) 202-1814
