Enter another time in this unusual estate sale of Helena educator and Harley enthusiast Clarence Dahl. The estate features classic vehicles, a Harley and everything Harley-related, Sturgis collectibles and Black Hills gold, coins, many tools and auto repair items, guns, and 1960s style art and records. Also to be sold: the musical equipment from Clarence’s ’60s band, the Northwest Drifters, including Fender, Peavey and Ludwig, along with unique items from his hometown of Anaconda.
We offer two storage sheds, a cabin and garage, all full. Even the storage sheds will be sold. Many, many men’s clothes, brand-new; many gift items new in their boxes. Bargains in photo frames and albums, retro and novelty radios and record players.
There’s everything one might need for the Harley: many leather jackets, vests, pants, hats and even vintage chaps, as well as Harley jewelry, many belt buckles, shirts and army -style helmets. If you’ve always wanted a Sturgis souvenir, here’s your chance to buy never-worn t-shirts and memorabilia. The rock ‘n roll art and records include posters, figures and clocks featuring the icons of the era.
There’s a new-in-the-box Marilyn Monroe phone, rare LP albums. Band equipment includes a 1966 Fender Jaguar, a 1960’s Carvin double-neck 10-string electric guitar, Fender and Peavey amps, mixers and professional speaker systems, a classic Ludwig drum set. The band’’ vintage CW and 60s clothing includes many fringed and western style shirts.
Guns are Mossberg 30-06, Winchester 12-gauge, two black powder .44 cal pistols with holsters and BB guns. The sale includes hundreds of car and woodworking tools, ladders, 2 good chainsaws, firewood, body building and weight sets, cases of oil and car filters, everything Clarence had to keep his vehicles in top shape. Also, two new wood burning stoves, refrigerator, washer and dryer, freezer, antique furniture projects, farm house table and chairs, trunks, a large 1:18 die cast model car collection, old Philco radio, clothing, boots and saddle shoes, knives, kitchen ware, 4 flat screen TVs, stereos, many hubcaps, tires and rims, some classic car parts.
Clarence left his estate to U of M Western, Dillon and this sale will benefit the college.
